Overview
The Butterfly program will bring together approximately 60 students from partner universities in Thailand, the USA, Mexico, various EU countries, and Denmark.
The course workload is worth 5 ECTS (EQF level 6) within the academic scope of Innovation, Sustainability and Cross-Cultural Communication. There will be an exam and transcript offered.
Over the course of 14 days, students will work in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams in order to address specific challenges related to sustainability and innovation in agriculture and food production. Guided by an international team of faculty members, students will employ methods such as Design Thinking to generate innovative solutions in these critical sectors.
The program is offered to ZEALAND students as a 5 ECTS elective course.
Important Dates:
Zealand Academy, Roskilde department, Roskilde, Denmark, is proud to host the ‘Butterfly’ program in 2025. The course will begin with online/virtual sessions starting on March 1, 2025, followed by two weeks of in-person collaboration in Roskilde from March 24th to April 6th, 2025. During these two weeks, students will engage in intensive project work and team-building activities in Roskilde.
Examination:
At the end of the course students will be assessed on their theoretical understanding of the topics covered, as well as their proposed solutions to the challenges presented. Evaluations will consider various criteria, including feasibility, originality, and alignment with sustainability goals.
Who can join?
In principle student participants can join from different academic backgrounds as long as they have Innovation, Sustainability and Cross-Cultural Communication as part of their curriculum.
This program is designed to enhance students’ communication skills and intercultural competencies while fostering the development of innovative and sustainable solutions to complex global challenges. The program is organized by Zealand Academy in cooperation with three of our esteemed international partners.

10 Days Pannónia Programme = 300.000 HUF

4 Days RRF scholarship 60.000 HUF
Total: 360.000 HUF
Please note that the scholarship may NOT NECESSARILY cover all your expenses, so plan ahead!
