International Week at South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) between 11-15 March, 2024

The School of Welfare of South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) has
a pleasure of inviting faculty and other staff members as well as students of its partner
institutions to the International Week in the spring of 2024.

The International Week on the Mikkeli and Savonlinna campuses
will take place on 11-15 March 2024 and the week’s main theme is
HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AS PROMOTERS OF WELLBEING.

The International Week on the Kotka campus will be arranged on 22-26 April 2024 and it will focus on
MULTICULTURAL WORK IN SOCIAL & HEALTH CARE AND INTERNATIONAL OFFICES.

The International week will be organised by the following departments and units:
• Department of Health Care and Emergency Care and
Department of Social Services and Promotion of Functional Ability (Kotka & Kouvola)
• Department of Social Services and Health Care &
Department of Tourism, Hospitality Management and Youth Work (Mikkeli)
• Department of Social Services and Health Care & Department of Sports and
Rehabilitation (Savonlinna)
• RDI Services
• Xamk’s International Services

The wellbeing programmes by campuses can be found in the attachment; B referring to the
Bachelor level and M to the Master level.

The programmes / campus, enrolment form and other information are available on our website
International Week – Xamk. The enrolment period for the week will end on 31 January 2024.

Please, note that the programmes on the website are preliminary and the final programmes will be
confirmed only after the enrolment deadline.
